Easy Caramel pudding/ Spanish Flan recipe with fresh milk

Image
Caramel pudding, Cre’me caramel or Spanish Flan has been my favourite dessert since childhood.  Who can resist such a dainty golden pudding sitting on a pool of golden syrup! Yum! Yum! My mum made this with condensed milk which, undoubtedly had a very smooth, rich, and creamier texture. Being a seeker of healthy versions of any dish, I replaced condensed milk with fresh whole milk and achieved grand results, which I would love to share with you all. You can either steam or bake it in the oven. However, steamed puddings always have a distinct delicate texture than the oven-baked ones, which I am addicted to. Nothing could possibly go wrong with this recipe as it could be the most simplest dessert pudding ever! So, grab the milk, eggs and sugar and let’s get started! Find the Caramel pudding with condensed milk recipe by clicking the link below: Easy Caramel Pudding with condensed milk – Yummy! Get ready with the following items:  Whole milk  2 cups ...

Therapeutic Tea - A very special tea for reviving tired bones

Image
What would cheer you up after a long and tiring day?  A cup of tea of course!  A ‘cuppa’, as the British refer to it with such fondness, is indeed a form of therapy. My favourite PG Tips! Well, what I am presenting here is not the traditional British ‘cuppa’ but more related to the Indian style of brewing tea. This is a sweet, milky version of tea with a subtle blend of spices; cloves, cinnamon and cardamoms that could be the ultimate choice as a comforting beverage to revive your tired bones, rather a therapy to relax you mentally and physically. While sipping this tea, you will enjoy the unmistakable aroma of spices and adding a slice or two of ginger into the pan will offer the warmth you desire most. I use PG Tips tea bags to make this tea as they have been my favourite for the past 20 years. I was very pleased to hear the wonderful news that PG Tips have made their tea bags biodegradable to support the environment. Hats off to their ve...

Don’t we all love Chinese food simply because of its unique mouthwatering flavours and the most uncomplicated techniques of making them? It’s just a matter of chopping all and dropping all into a pan and give a quick toss and a turn, pour in sauces and, voila! job done! It is that easy and the taste is supreme too. The generous amount of vegetables used in this recipe make it much healthier and versatile. While stirfrying the veggies I tried my best to keep their original colours intact which in turn made this dish look absolutely delightful with such an exotic assortment of colours blended together! I bet, you will stop buying this dish from take-a-ways once you start making it at home because the homemade chicken in black bean sauce with all the colourful and crunchy veggies will become an instant favourite of your family and friends. There are many brands of black bean sauce available in supermarkets but I have always been loyal to the Blue Dragon brand which has th...
